Dr Jeri Booher writes:
Grand Finale is the last son of Victor, and as such, holds a special position at TIMBERLAND ALPACAS. His look and fleece style is very reminiscent of his sire, as is evident in his “Best Crimp” special fleece award at the 2007 AWE show. Extremely heavy fleece weight and long staple length are also his hallmarks and part of why Finale also won the Light Male Championship as a juvenile, a Reserve Light Male in composite at the 2006 AOBA Nationals, then a Light Reserve Champion in fleece in 2007. Finale’s dam, Sara’s Sahara, was herself a white champion and a repeat producer of champion offspring, and proof again of the “Power of Pedigree”. Finale’s calm temperament is also reminiscent of his sire, and he can be seen frequently playing and cavorting in the field with TIMBERLAND’S livestock guardian Anatolian Shepherd dog, Buck.
